It was nice to been there even there is not surfing event on held when that time we go, but soon it will be held on Dec 2009, gotta check out the updates. It took us about 3 hours from KL pudu bus station to reach Kuantan bus station in town, and another 45 minutes from station to Cherating. Its RM22 per bus ticket from KL>Kuantan. We stay at in a oldschool type chalet nearby the beach, i forgot what is name called, its cost us RM150 per night and we spent 2 nights there. The food over there just like usual Malay food that we can get around Malaysia, nothing special. After i came back here then i only did a research, i knew we missed out a lot of thing like traveling the sea and visiting some hell orang asli place, im not sure about that but sure some boring stuffs haha cause seriously i don't really mind we missed that. I might be a fool did a research after came back from there because my buddy dumb Fish invite me to go Cherating by 2 of us within 1 week holidays with beg packing style, then i didnt know much about this place at first and not even knew it located at Kuantan, then we asked somemore other guys to come with us in spontenoes way and they just go like that, and its how the hell of this trip been started. We not even book any fucking hotel room or chalet and we reach there at 11pm only start looking for accomodation, well...god really blessed us, we did it.

For the person who might going there i just tell you " Go ahead, it's easy!". You may not prepare anything much just get up the bus and reach Kuantan, there will be a lot of buses and taxi will get your ass there. For this place you won't spend much if you go for relaxing, our trip for 3D2Ns only in budget RM300 for each person that's enough for us for daily meals and accomodations sharing. It's cheap planned trip and enocomy wuakakaka. You may enjoy drinking beers on the beach in the night with full of stars as what had we did!
